About the Artist

- Graduated from the St Luc Institute in Tournai (Belgium).
- Art schools in Paris.

Her studies drove Isabelle Vougny towards the fundamental and ultimate characteristics of forms and objects. As a priority, Isabelle Vougny focuses on expression and simplicity.

During 14 years she works as "Styliste" and designer in a number of companies.
She then worked on old building spaces renovation and starts practising wood carving.

In 1998 she decides to allocate all her time and energy to painting. Her passion for raw materials and colors forms the basis of a great way of expression.

Her favorite themes are mostly around nature.
Isabelle Vougny is continuously fascinated by colors, contrasts, volumes, natural harmony and simplicity.

Isabelle Vougny belongs to the "Mountain Painters Society".

She is exhibiting in several great places every year and has a permanent exhibit at the Arcad Art Gallery in Annecy, France.
